Distribution of the home composting bins for the Communities of Kato Kleines, Meliti and Ammoxori of the Municipality of Florina
The Municipality of Florina in collaboration with DIADYMA SA, in the context of the implementation of the project “LESS WASTE II”, organizes on Friday, June 25, 2021 an event for the distribution of home composting bins as well as for detailed information on the composting process.
Home composting refers to the utilization of organic waste (food waste) of a household and the garden e.g. pruning, lawn. This process involves the use of special bins in which the organic materials are placed and converted into very good quality fertilizer – compost, which can be disposed of to the household in the garden or its pots.
Events for the household compost bins and relevant information in each Community:
Kato Kleines: 09:00, in the central square
Meliti: 10:30, in the central square of Meliti
Ammoxori: 12:30, in the central square of Ammoxori
